It is often while we are going through the storms, the trials and the spiritual warfare over our God written destiny, that it can become very easy to get depressed, angry, sad and straight up annoyed when things do not go or work out the way you think it should especially when you see evil people prospering in their wicked schemes. But remember God has the final say, and that salvation is essential to human existence and necessary for eternity. When Jesus says He is the bread of life, he is saying He is essential, therefore cling to Jesus during your trials and you will have everything you need! Scripture tells us " not to fret", stop worrying when things do not work out the way you planned, there is a timing and season for everything. God's timing may not be your timing, but let me tell you God's timing is perfect! I want God's perfect timing for everything in my life, because that means it will always be better than my timing.
The devil and his agents can manipulate, scheme and plot against you all they want, but what they do not realize is that even them, yes their evil wicked schemes and deceptions were all apart of the divine plan to catapult you into destiny and your life purpose. Their life purpose is to be your footstool. OUCH. The very thing the enemy used to oppose you is the very thing that will lift you up into your calling.
The bible says
2 Corinthians 11:14
14 And no marvel; for aSatan himself is transformed into an bangel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose aend shall be according to their works.
Scripture always writes about this tactic of the enemy so this should not be surprising to believers because Satan also disguises himself as an angel of light. The Devil's greatest weapon has always been deception. The most effective deception is to convince people that what is evil is actually good, that what is dark is actually light. By coating lies in a thin shield of truth, it's much easier to fool people into accepting what is false. And accepting evil wicked schemes as genuine. This is also how evil people operate, they pretend to be good but they are wicked to the core, operating in false light.
The good news is that God is not dead. God is alive, he is the most powerful being in the universe. God created the universe! That's why we as believers in Christ do not worship the creations we worship the creator. We do not worship entertainment, material things or nature. We appreciate and take care of the oceans, the mountains, the rocks, the sun, the moon and plants. We do not worship the creation we worship the creator period.
We stay faithful to his word and his promises, God is not a liar. When we look at Joseph's life he went through seasons of loneliness, isolation, false accusation and all he had was a word from God while being in the pit, the prison alone. When I think of Joseph story it breaks my heart, because he literally only had the dream from God. At least we can distract ourselves with other godly activities. Scripture say's " he was laid in chains of iron, and his soul entered into that iron". In that prison Joseph developed strength, perservence, good character and faith that he couldn't have gotten any other way. He needed those qualities in order to become the powerful and great leader that he was destined to be.
From a young age, Joseph believed God had chose him for a great destiny. In dreams, God assured Joseph that he would rise to a position of leadership over his parents and brothers (Gen. 37:5-11). From Joseph’s point of view, these dreams were evidence of divine blessing, these were not his own goals or ambition. From his brothers’ point of view, however, the dreams were further manifestations of the unfair privilege that Joseph enjoyed as the favourite son of their father, Jacob, especially since he was the only son with a special coat of many colours. When Joseph had the dreams about his future and told his brother's about what would happen they threw him in a pit, and he was a slave for 13 years. One thing to take note of is although Joseph was a slave, he still had grace and favour everywhere he went.
When Joseph got sold into slavery he was sold to Potiphar, “the captain of the guard” who was “an officer of Pharaoh” in Egypt (Gen. 37:36; 39:1). At first Joseph was just a slave but when Potiphar recognized Joseph’s general competence, he promoted him to be his personal steward and “put him in charge of all that he had” (Gen. 39:4). That's God's grace, yes Joseph was still technically a slave but he had the most responsibilities and privileges out of the rest of the slaves. God's grace was always with Joseph despite the constant setbacks, the setbacks were actually a setup for his destiny!
The point is, if Joseph's brother's never got jealous of him and threw him in the pit,Joseph would have never reached his destiny. God used Jospeh's brothers jealousy as an instrument to push him towards his destiny. The pit was not a fun place for Joseph, but it allowed him to depend on God and God alone. And when Joseph got out of the pit he got mistreated again, which landed him in prison. The constant mistreatment that Joseph faced by other's developed his character and allowed him to fully depend on God and not on man.
God is reminding us this week that his grace is always with us and not to take his grace for granted. When you first receive that prophetic word, the first thing that happens is that everything look's like the exact opposite of what God said would happen. That's because the enemy sends out his demons and his assigned witches who are assigned to specific individuals to work with Satan to abort that prophetic word so it does not manifest. So it's always important to stay in prayer over every prophetic word giving to you by God. Often these witches are working in deception to deceive those around them into thinking they are good people. But at night they have their altars, they are doing satanic rituals and sacrifices, working with witch doctors all to kill steal and destroy the plans of God for your life.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have [it] abundantly.
The joke is on Satan, he get's tricked every single time. God will always use the enemy as your footstool to your promise land. There are some lessons that you can only learn in the dark places. Stop complaining, I know it's hard, it's unfair but you will come out stronger, and unbreakable like a diamond, You cannot reach your highest being on top and in the light all the time. If you had no problems, opposition or anyone coming against you, it would stunt your growth. Many times your enemies will do more to catapult you to success than your friends- Joel Osteen
When I look at my own life, I've definitely been through my own wide share of mistreatment by others, trials, tribulations, false accusations, oppression, opposition and attacks. However one thing I recognized that throughout my wilderness season as the enemy attacked me God would turn every single one of his attacks into a gigantic blessings, that not only provided for me whenever I needed but pushed me into my destiny and created in me a type of patience, courage, faith, strength and resilience I would of not have gotten any other way. So always be thankful for your enemies, because it means you are doing something right, and they are the one's who help you reach your destiny!
Prayer for Us:
Thank you Lord for my enemies, the opposition, the setbacks and the attacks because without it I would have not been this unbreakable and I would have never known my life purpose, and know how strong I am. But I would also never have known my heavenly Father as the Lion but also the Lamb! I now have the patience, perseverance and faith needed to overcome all and every plan of the enemy. I pray that you will keep refining me so I'll be an example of Christ on earth. I am not only grateful for the pain, heartache and setbacks, but the grace you gave me to get me through it all. Because opposition is and can always be used as a tool to develop in anyone good character, patience, faith and resilience, and I am thankful for it all. I believe that You have put a blood line of protection around me and that no weapon formed against me will ever prosper from the past, present or future In Jesus' Name, Amen.
